Master's Student

 About me

I am a Master’s student of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Philipp Mitteroecker preparing a thesis on the topic "Statistical problems of hypothesis testing in genome wide association studies."

I am interested in the application of mathematics and statistics in biological contexts such as population genetics, evolution and ecology. I think a clear thought on methodology becomes more and more important as we have entered into an era of big data science. Because as Mark Twain once said: "It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
