About me

I am an evolutionary biologist studying the evolution of gene regulatory mechanisms in animals with a focus on epigenetic modifications. I am studying which factors influence the evolvability of different regulatory mechanisms and how these mechanisms interact with each other. I mainly work computational analyzing different kinds of omics data, e.g. Single-cell, Transcriptomics, Genomics. Occasionally, I generate data myself while exploring new sequencing techniques.
