About me

I am a Master’s student of Doz. Dr. Günter Gollmann preparing a thesis on the topic: „Local relationships of the fire-bellied toads (Bombina bombina) in the Upper Lobau“.
The aim of this study is to show local movements of the fire- bellied toads at a selected area in the National Park Donau- Auen. Due to the fact that there is almost no research on this topic yet, my interest is, to demonstrate in which water bodies they move during their activity season, showing what the reasons are and to find out, which impact the fluctuating water level of the Lobau has on their choice of spawning sites and summer habitats.
