About me

I am a Master's student of Doz. Dr. Günter Gollmann preparing a thesis on the topic "Phenology and growth of fire salamander larvae in streams and standing waters of the Vienna Woods".

The aim of the study is to:

- examine the size of fire salamander larvae in various waters in Vienna from the beginning of spring until all larvae have metamorphosed or the water bodies have dried up;

- compare the size of fire salamander larvae from standing and flowing waters as well as the individual standing and flowing waters from this year and with data from 2018;

- explain possible differences for the size between the larvae of the different waters.
