 About me

I am a visiting PhD student from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where I work on understanding the relation between evolvability and divergence in quantitative traits together with Prof. Christophe Pélabon and Prof. Thomas F. HansenI will spend a year at the lab of Prof. Mihaela Pavličev. Here we will concentrate on complex traits and strive to understand how evolvability is generated in systems, specifically the metabolism of glutathione in the human liver, and how the topology and parameters of this network diverges across mammalian species. We are interested in how variation in gene expression translates into variation in the network output, and how it differs across species. This allows us to study how the organismal structure may constrain future evolvability and evolution of the network.
