About me

I am a Master´s student of Doz. Dr. Günter Gollmann preparing a thesis on the topic “Morphological analysis of Triturus carnifex and Triturus dobrogicus larval populations near Vienna”.

The aim is to find differences in body proportions, as well as colour patterns between larval populations of the two species. Vienna is part of a contact zone of Triturus carnifex and Triturus dobrogicus for this reason larvae from Lower Austria will be used to determine potential differences to larvae within the contact zone.
